Q. DO THE TEMPLATES WORK WITH ALL MAIL APPLICATIONS?
A. The Mail Stationery templates were designed for, and can only be loaded into, Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard Mail and subsequently be sent from it. They can be viewed in other mail applications - our testing has shown compatibility in Windows Live Mail, Firefox thunderbird, Yahoo mail and gmail. We have experienced some variation in programs such as lotus notes and outlook. Depending on versions of the software and preference settings performance may vary. We can make no claims or give guarantees in this area. Of course Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard Mail will send to Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard Mail.
Q. ONCE I PAY, DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL A PRODUCT DO I HAVE TO BUY A TEMPLATE EVERYTIME I SEND AND EMAIL? CAN I ONLY USE IT ONCE?
A. Once you purchase a template, download and install it into mail it will show up in your stationery folder and be available for you to use it as many times as you like.
Q. I AM UNPACKING MY IMAGES TO A USB DRIVE AND IT DOES NOT WORK - IS THE PACKAGE FAULTY?
A. It is best to first unpack the product to your main drive then transfer the product once unpacked to another location if you require. We have found that sometimes you have to try unpacking more than once to get it to actually work so we recommend download to the main drive first.
Q. CAN I RESELL A TEMPLATE?
A. No.
Q. CAN I EXTRACT ARTWORK OUT OF A TEMPLATE AND RE-USE IT/INCLUDE IT AS PART OF PRODUCT FOR SALE OR CIRCULATION?
A. No, this would be a breach of copyright and the EULA.
Q. CAN I USE THE SIGNATURES THAT I PURCHASE IN OTHER ARTWORK THAT I CREATE?
A. Yes, this is the exception, you can use the signatures in other artwork.
Q. CAN I SHARE TEMPLATES WITH MY FRIUENDS?
A. No. We have made the service very affordable and need your suport to recover overheads and to reward our artists and programmers fairly for their creativity.
Q. WHEN I PRINT A TEMPLATE THE TEXT COMES OUT CLEARLY BUT THE ARTWORK IS FUZZY. WHAT WILL FIX THIS?
A. Nothing will fix this. To ensure fast downloading and transfer of the email the files have been created in low resolution and are designed for screen not print. Some packages such as the signatures have a high resolution file, these are identified as high resolution on the site.
Q. IF I SUGGEST A NAME, SIGNATURE OR HEADER TO BE ADDED TO THE NEXT DESIGN SCHEDULE, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE IT IS AVAILABLE ON THE SITE?
A. As we balance and allocate time in the team to different products it will vary. The request page on the site has the current estimates by product category.
